The Hunt is Bound by Desire's annual leather run. Each year we gather in beautiful Central Texas, for a weekend camp-out including safe, sane and consensual S/M play. This is an all-women's event.
The TCC landsite provides wonderful facilities, privacy, and even more FUN! Clothing is optional.

Truth or Dare, anyone?
Some of the usual features of The Hunt are a silent auction for great scene related toys and services, a live auction, a raffle for an extraordinarily great prize, Truth or Dare, and a few fun surprises!
- The highlight of the weekend is The Hunt itself: willing submissives/bottoms and others hide in the woods until captured by the Tops. Play is then negotiated.
- A general membership meeting
- Our SM 101 seminar. Attendance at one of the two 101 seminars held annually is a requirement of membership.
- Campsites for tents and campers, limited number of bunks, permanent shower and toilet facilities
- Lots of equipment to play on!
Costs
The cost for this event is $45 for BbD members and $60 for non-members, for the entire weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and includes a catered dinner on Saturday night. If you can't join us for the entire weekend, day passes are also available for $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
The campground also charges a separate $25 per weekend fee for full RV hook-up (electric/water/sewage), $10 per weekend for extension cord hook-up only, or $15 per weekend for bunk house. The bunkhouse has a very limited number of beds and there are no private rooms or bathroom.
Registration
- Print the registration form (pdf or web page), fill it out completely, and mail it along with a money order (checks accepted for members only) to Bound by Desire, P.O. Box 3733, Austin, TX 78764.
- Please be sure to include registration fee as well as any additional fees, such as RV or electric hookup (if applicable).
- We cannot accommodate "walk-ins". You must pre-register to attend The Hunt. This policy is for everyone's safety.
- Do not send cash through the mail.
- After we receive your signed registration form & fees, and check the references listed, you will be sent a confirmation as well as directions to the event site. Bound by Desire has a strict no drug policy.
- Bound by Desire assumes no liability for injury or duress as a result of participation in this event, and we reserve the right to refuse anyone's registration.
Note to our out of town attendees: If you are travelling from out of town for The Hunt, please note on the back of your application if you need transportation assistance from the airport and what camping gear you might need that you are not bringing with you. Thank you, 2008 BbD Board.
